                        About This Collection

                        Natural fabric dresses made to breathe
                        Botanical dye dresses crafted in silk, cotton, linen, and ramie.

                        This collection gathers all of RIMMBA’s natural fabric dresses from Bali, bringing together silk, cotton, linen, and ramie in breathable garments made slowly on the island. From the beginning, this page exists as the home of every dress we create using natural fibres, before they branch into more specific collections.

                        We work exclusively with organic and natural materials because they interact gently with the body. As a result, our natural fabric dresses help regulate temperature, soften with wear, and remain comfortable across climates. In Bali, each piece takes shape without synthetic blends, plastic fibres, or chemical finishes.

                        At the same time, colour emerges through botanical dye processes. Artisans in Bali extract pigment from leaves, roots, bark, flowers, and berries, then apply it by hand using ancestral methods. Because the dyeing happens slowly, every natural fabric dress carries subtle variation rather than uniformity.

                        Our silhouettes range from relaxed mini dresses to flowing maxi styles. However, regardless of length or cut, each design prioritises movement and breath. For this reason, silk drapes fluidly, cotton and linen feel light on the skin, and ramie adds structure without trapping heat.
