As a Bali-born, third culture kid with Swiss-American roots, Karunia Fischer embodies a vibrant cultural tapestry of heritage, artistry and unwavering passion for the environment. From her birthplace in the cultural village of Ubud, her journey took her to Rhode Island School of Design and further studies in the Netherlands before returning to her beloved island home where she discovered a profound love for creating vibrant natural hues using native botanicals. 

This awakening gave birth to RIMMBA, a brand that embodies Karunia's love for hand-crafting, design, and environmental stewardship. Weaving together the threads of Bali's rich cultural heritage with her modern design sensibilities, Karunia creates high quality garments that are imbued with natural beauty. Karunia's vision extends beyond aesthetics. As an advocate for a regenerative economy, she has built RIMMBA into a social impact venture by partnering with local artisans and preserving heritage techniques.
