        Low-back silk dresses designed through proportion, movement, and restraint.

        It is not only in Bali that open-back silk dresses reveals more through intention than exposure. For this reason, our low-back silk dresses rely on balance rather than excess. Each low-back design is tailored in our workshop in Bali and it frames the back carefully, allowing the body to move while keeping the silhouette composed and timeless.

        We craft every open-back dress in Bali from 100% mulberry silk charmeuse. The fabric holds a subtle sheen on the surface, while the reverse remains soft and breathable against the skin. At our Bali's workshop, we cut most low-back silk dresses on the bias. As a result, the silk follows the body naturally and allows the open-back to feel fluid rather than fixed.

        Although many pieces use botanical or heritage dye methods, this collection places the cut first. Unlike printed or eco-print dresses, these designs let the low back lead visually. Colour and silk work quietly together at RIMMBA in Bali: supporting the form rather than competing with it.
