Aphrodite Dress - Iron Mud
The Aphrodite Dress is our newest silhouette, handcrafted from 100% pure mulberry silk and naturally mud-dyed using Indonesia’s traditional plant-and-mineral process — honouring one of the archipelago’s oldest natural-dye textile crafts.
This style features long, adjustable silk ribbons that wrap around the neck, allowing you to customize the height of the neckline. The plunge can go as high or as low as you like, offering a completely adaptable fit depending on your silhouette. What makes it truly special is the length of these ribbons, they’re so long, they can wrap around your neck and trail down like a silk scarf.
The dress is cut with intention. The front hem is slightly shorter while the sides are longer, creating beautiful drape and natural shape as you move.
Raw-silk fringe brings delicate texture to the neckline, while a low V-back offers an elegant open finish — refined, feminine, and quietly sensual.
Mud-Dye:
This dress is dyed using mud, one of the oldest natural dye methods in the world. The color comes from iron-rich soil, water, rice-starch, and plant tannins — no synthetic dyes or chemicals. This technique is traditional in parts of Indonesia. The process is slow and completely natural.
