Our Gaya Silk Kaftan dress, is lightweight and loose fitted. It drapes comfortably over the body, allowing lots of free movement. Our Silk Kaftan features a mirroring V neckline and a V back design.The floor-length, maxi design, gives the overall look an elegant and feminine sensibility.

Our product is made from 100% GENUINE Mulberry Silk, the highest quality silk available. Mulberry silk comes from silkworms that are fed exclusively on mulberry leaves, producing long, smooth fibers with an incredibly soft and luxurious feel. It’s naturally hypoallergenic, breathable, and gentle on skin and hair, making it ideal for everyday use. 

Each piece is hand-dyed in Bali under the full moon using marigold flowers and foraged botanicals. The rich crimson and gold hues echo Gustav Klimt’s Lady in Red, with marigolds evoking his iconic gold leaf.
The adjustable side ties can be cinched to the front for a cascading drape or pulled to the back for a sleek front and flowing back - effortlessly transforming the silhouette into four distinct styles. Perfect for lounging, traveling, or making a statement.

How to measure your handmade custom silk dress made in Bali, Indonesia from RIMMBA Sustainable Clothing

In service to women — crafted with care for the womb, the skin, and the nervous system.

How to measure:

  1. Bust
    Wrap the tape around your bust line at nipple level, keeping it horizontal. Let it rest naturally against the body. Measure without a bra.
  2. Waist
    Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, keeping the measuring tape gently relaxed.
  3. Hips
    Stand straight with your feet together and measure around the widest point of your hips.
  4. Length
    Measure from the left or right collarbone (where a strap would sit) straight down to the floor, barefoot. Refer to diagram 4.

Every woman’s body holds its own proportions and rhythm — our silhouettes are designed to honor that.

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down, as bias-cut silk naturally adapts to the body.

If your height is below 162 cm (5'3") and you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.

If your height is above 175 cm (5'9") and you are between sizes, choose the larger size for additional length and balance.

If you are unsure, include your height and measurements (bust, waist, and hips) in your order notes. Our team will gently guide you.
