Inspired by the effortless glamour of the 70s, the Bella Silk Kaftan blends elegance with versatility. In many cultures, the kaftan symbolizes royalty and ceremonial grace — a garment for moments of power and presence.

Crafted from 100% Mulberry silk, the Bella Kaftan features a floor-length, relaxed fit with a cut-out neckline. Designed with zero-waste principles, it uses the full width of the fabric, ensuring no fabric waste during production. 

Each piece is hand-dyed in Bali under the full moon using marigold flowers and foraged botanicals. The rich crimson and gold hues echo Gustav Klimt’s Lady in Red, with marigolds evoking his iconic gold leaf.

The adjustable side ties can be cinched to the front for a cascading drape or pulled to the back for a sleek front and flowing back — effortlessly transforming the silhouette into four distinct styles.

How to measure your handmade custom silk dress made in Bali, Indonesia from RIMMBA Sustainable Clothing

In service to women — crafted with care for the womb, the skin, and the nervous system.

How to measure:

  1. Bust
    Wrap the tape around your bust line at nipple level, keeping it horizontal. Let it rest naturally against the body. Measure without a bra.
  2. Waist
    Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, keeping the measuring tape gently relaxed.
  3. Hips
    Stand straight with your feet together and measure around the widest point of your hips.
  4. Length
    Measure from the left or right collarbone (where a strap would sit) straight down to the floor, barefoot. Refer to diagram 4.

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down, as bias-cut silk naturally adapts to the body.

If your height is below 162 cm (5'3") and you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.

If your height is above 175 cm (5'9") and you are between sizes, choose the larger size for additional length and balance.

If you are unsure, include your height and measurements (bust, waist, and hips) in your order notes. Our team will gently guide you.
