Our RIMMBA silk dresses, are  a labor of love, handcrafted with care and dyed from plants with intention and connection to tradition and community. Each one is Individually crafted from the highest quality mulberry silk and sewn by our our skilled tailors at our Bali Atelier. 

Our Scarlette Silk Dress is cut on the bias at a 45-degree angle, enhancing the natural stretch, movement, and flexibility of the silk fabric. Making the dress flattering, comfortable and drapes beautifully on all body shapes and sizes. Crafted with a classic and timeless silhouette in mind, our Scarlette Silk Dress features a U neckline, a subtly low back, adjustable straps, and a moderate side slit. The length of the midi dress, end around mid-calf, giving the overall look a modern sensibility. Ideal for both casual days and elegant evenings.

The Magic of Mango Leaves
Hand-dyed with sustainably harvested mango leaves from Indonesia, this silk dress is a tribute to the ancient art of plant alchemy. In Balinese and Ayurvedic traditions, mango leaves are known for their cleansing, antioxidant-rich properties — used to purify spaces, soothe the nervous system, and calm the mind.

How to measure your handmade custom silk dress made in Bali, Indonesia from RIMMBA Sustainable Clothing

In service to women — crafted with care for the womb, the skin, and the nervous system.

How to measure:

  1. Bust
    Wrap the tape around your bust line at nipple level, keeping it horizontal. Let it rest naturally against the body. Measure without a bra.
  2. Waist
    Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, keeping the measuring tape gently relaxed.
  3. Hips
    Stand straight with your feet together and measure around the widest point of your hips.
  4. Length
    Measure from the left or right collarbone (where a strap would sit) straight down to the floor, barefoot. Refer to diagram 4.

sizing & Height

Every woman’s body holds its own proportions and rhythm — our silhouettes are designed to honor that.

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down, as bias-cut silk naturally adapts to the body.

If your height is below 162 cm (5'3") and you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.

If your height is above 175 cm (5'9") and you are between sizes, choose the larger size for additional length and balance.

If you are unsure, include your height and measurements (bust, waist, and hips) in your order notes. Our team will gently guide you.
