The indigo vintage silk dress combines classic style with modern ease. It features 100% mulberry silk satin and soft silk chiffon sleeves. This design draws inspiration from vintage silhouettes of the 1930s.

Because the dress is cut on the bias, the fabric moves fluidly and feels light against your body. As a result, this indigo silk midi dress flows beautifully when you walk. The halter neckline and moderate V cut give a flattering shape. Meanwhile, the gathered bust line adds refined detail that feels elegant.

In addition, we added darts at the back for shaping and a contour that feels tailored rather than stiff. The vintage style silk gown has a midi length that feels both classic and relaxed. How to measure your handmade custom silk dress made in Bali, Indonesia from RIMMBA Sustainable Clothing

In service to women — crafted with care for the womb, the skin, and the nervous system.

How to measure:

  1. Bust
    Wrap the tape around your bust line at nipple level, keeping it horizontal. Let it rest naturally against the body. Measure without a bra.
  2. Waist
    Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, keeping the measuring tape gently relaxed.
  3. Hips
    Stand straight with your feet together and measure around the widest point of your hips.
  4. Length
    Measure from the left or right collarbone (where a strap would sit) straight down to the floor, barefoot. Refer to diagram 4.

Every woman’s body holds its own proportions and rhythm — our silhouettes are designed to honor that.

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down, as bias-cut silk naturally adapts to the body.

If your height is below 162 cm (5'3") and you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.

If your height is above 175 cm (5'9") and you are between sizes, choose the larger size for additional length and balance.

If you are unsure, include your height and measurements (bust, waist, and hips) in your order notes. Our team will gently guide you.
