Each piece is handcrafted from double-layered 19 momme mulberry silk charmeuse and individually dyed by hand in Bali using Brazilwood and iron. The interaction between the plant dye and iron creates an extraordinary painterly print across the silk — deep reds, earthy shadows and unexpected markings that can never be replicated exactly.
No two pieces are the same. Rather than a digitally printed pattern, every print is created through the botanical dye process, allowing the plants, minerals and hands of the artisan to determine the final composition.
