    Mulberry silk scrunchies hand-made in Bali from natural fabrics.

    We make these scrunchies from the same mulberry silk used for our garments. In Bali, RIMMBA's team conciously collects leftover waste fabric from dresses and blouses production, then cuts and sews it into soft hair ties. Through this process, mulberry silk scrunchies extend the life of the material while reducing waste in Bali.

    RIMMBA's scrunchies behaves differently from standard synthetic hair elastics. Natural fabrics slide instead of pulling. As a result, silk scrunchies reduce breakage, tension, and creasing. They hold the hair gently, which makes them suitable for daily wear and for sleeping.

    RIMMBA's tailors in Bali sew each piece by hand using durable elastic fully wrapped in silk. Some scrunchies feature plant-dyed colour, while others keep the fabric’s natural tone. The surface remains soft and smooth, reflecting the careful, manual process behind each piece.
